Alex longs to be dominated in bed by a strong, loving man.  But when she finds herself mysteriously transported from her bed in the middle of the night to be dropped into the water on top of the most gorgeous hunk she has ever laid eyes on, she can’t help but wonder if her fantasies have finally become a reality.  She discovers that what can only be aliens have “beamed” her to a deserted island with a drop dead droolalicious marine named Hawke, who claims he was taken from the middle of fighting over in Iraq.  But it isn’t all pleasantries at this little secluded place.  Oh no, because there seem to be an endless supply of creatures that are sent to try to eat them.  Will they be able to survive the truth of their situation when they discover that they have been transported not by aliens, but by humans from the future to participate in their version of Reality T.V.?  A twisted type of Survivor if you will.

Victoria Michaels has done a wonderful job of showing us that Reality T.V. doesn’t have to irritate and annoy people as it does to so many of us out there.  Because she has created the one type of Reality show I am all for.  To be on a secluded island with no way to escape, trapped with a gorgeous marine who wears a loin cloth because his clothes have been torn to shreds by the creatures sent to kill them.  SWOON!  I would suffer the danger for something like that.  I think we all would.  This was a fast exciting read. 4 hearts
