Book Description (from publisher)

Don’t go near the water… Something’s out there.

Something dark. Something evil. And it wants you…

The town of Elsmere hasn’t forgotten. And now young men are disappearing. Again. Detective Delia Barnes doesn’t believe the legends, but her sexy Native America partner, Keonne Redfeather, knows better. Scientific answers like dangerous undertows and chilling temperatures are only a part of the legend of The Water Witch. Beneath the placid waters lies something dark and dangerous.

The detectives are at the opposite end of the spectrum in solving the mystery. Still, Del can’t keep her partner out of her dreams. She’d do just about anything to get him into bed. Firsthand experience convinces Keonne the Water Witch is more than a legend -- he barely escapes with his life. As their passions ignite, Delia and Keonne stir more than the dark, dangerous waters. The Water Witch is closing in on them…and she never forgets.

Review

The Water Witch is a magnificent story of horror reminiscent of some t.v horror movies. Suspenseful, eerie, and haunting and yet Ciarra Sims manages to combine horror and romance beautifully. I highly recommend this short story to readers who love the romance and horror genre. This short story more than deserves five hearts.
