Dechrista thinks Herb is just another john so when he asks her if he can bite her and turn her into a vampire she agrees thinking he’s joking but when she wakes up inside the vampire nightclub Burgandy Peak she begins to suspect that everything was not as she believed.

Woodrow takes up the task up teaching the newly turned Dechrista the life of a vampire but he tries to keep emotionally safe from her when she stirs feelings in him that he has never felt before. And he secretly wonders if Dechrista could ever truly feel love for a blind vampire.

Kate Hill short story Blood and Soul 3: Vampire Guardian is part of her Blood and Soul Series but was wonderful as a stand alone story and I didn’t miss anything without having read the first two parts of the series.

Kate Hill does a wonderful job in creating a tender and beautiful love story of what people usually consider soulless monsters. This story was sexy, hot, sweet, and tender. It definitely deserves five hearts.
